Why is my mic sidetone glitchy?

My sidetone is super glitchy sounding. it is super loud and glitchy. I recorded my mic and it sounded fine but the sidetone is broken. I tried to do everything software to fix it but it still doesnt work. I plugged my headset into my gamedac and the sidetone worked fine. I think it is a problem with the transmitter box . help please
