usb accessories disabled with QGeem Hub

Hello,

I have a USB hub that worked perfectly before my last software update.

Right now I’m running 10.15.6 (19G2021) and when I plug in the QGeeM (PN: HC0801) hub I’m getting the “USB accessories disabled“

Reset PRAM/NVRAM or Reset SMC does not help.

Any other ideas?

Does it make a difference which port you use?

Also have you tried another USB-C/Thunderbolt device in the port to see if the issue is strictly with the humbug's Vs the system.

same result for all ports. I have a different hub ( much simpler ) that works.

the thing is that the QGeeM worked till now...

Time to speak with QGeem on getting a replacement if its still under warranty. Otherwise you’ll need a new unit if you need what it offered for ports. Maybe you’ll want to look at another vendor to see if their unit is better (or has a longer warranty)
