Hi @ivorystardust
Things to try to resolve the problem:
a. Wipe the cache partition and check if this resolves the problem
b. Try using the phone in safe mode when on a call and check if you can be heard OK.
If you can then a downloaded app may be the cause of the problem. You would need to uninstall each downloaded app, one by one and test the phone in normal mode until it worked OK. When it does the last downloaded app that was uninstalled was the culprit.
c. Last option is to perform a wipe data /factory reset and see if that works.
Be aware that a factory reset will erase all your data and downloaded apps. It will restore the phone to its’ factory default condition. If you wish to try this then make sure that the battery is fully charged and that you backup the phone to the cloud or a computer, using the phone’s backup feature before performing the reset. Also make sure that you know the google user ID and password for the phone as you may need it after it has been reset
Once the backup has been completed, reset the phone and check if it now works OK.
If it works OK after the reset, using the backup created earlier, restore the phone with the phone’s restore feature and once it has been restored check that it still works OK. If so the reset has resolved the problem.
If it still doesn’t work OK after a reset, then there is a hardware problem and the phone would have to be opened and the problem further investigated as to why.
