We have an Animated Haunted Halloween Clock we bought at Grandin Road (you can see the video of how it works on Youtube). The 2 issues are: the eyes no longer light up, and the ghoul no longer pops out and moves his mouth. We opened the back and there is a tiny pcb and needless to say - it’s greek to us. If the clock face opens OK and then all the problems are only associated with the ghoul itself you may want to check the connections to it from the pcb.
Posting close up pictures of the pcb and the connections on the ghoul will help. Here's how to do this on ifixit Adding images to an existing question
