We have an Animated Haunted Halloween Clock we bought at Grandin Road (you can see the video of how it works on Youtube). The 2 issues are: the eyes no longer light up, and the ghoul no longer pops out and moves his mouth. We opened the back and there is a tiny pcb and needless to say - it’s greek to us.
