Can the screen be replaced
I have broke my MacBook screen and want to replace it. Can this be done at home? Or do I have to send it in to Apple? MacBook Air 13” 2017 model

Yes you can do it yourself with the correct tools and a little skill. I would check with Louis rossmann at rossmanngroup.com for the screen and the screw drivers. You will want to watch a few videos on YouTube to make sure you feel comfortable doing it. Louis also can do it you can call for a price. There is another place called Northridgefix.com that seems like they do quality work. You can also watch them on YouTube. I hope this helps

@barriphone - Lets try to focus on iFixit for guides and parts as they sponsor this Blog and we do want to support their mission 'Right to Repair'
@danj I didn't look to see if ifixit had. But I knew Louis did, and he is a big supporter of right to repair. As is jessa at ipad rehab who has done videos for ifixit.
@barriphone - The word 'Try' is the key ;-}
I post links to Louis's parts and vids after I check iFixit first and I also consider where the OP is located to get them to a source that's more regional to them.
BTW: I know both personally and both are great champions to the cause!
