Black screen after dropped, screen still responsive to touch

My cousin dropped my note 3. The phone still produces sound and it still responds to my touch, i see no crack on the screen but the screen is only black now.

I assume the outer screen and the digitizer is still fine. So the problem is with the LCD itself. Is it possible that only some cables get disconnected? Or i need to buy new lcd? Please help.

Hi,

Here’s the ifixit Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Display Assembly Replacement guide.

This should help in opening the tablet so that the flex cable connections can be inspected.

If the connections look OK then as a DIY repair, all you can to is temporarily replace the LCD screen to find out whether the problem is the screen or the systemboard.

ifixit has some screen parts but not all are available at this time (click on parts link in the guide)
