No keyboard, Trackpad Display port or Bluetooth

I had a broken Screen so attempted the fix myself. New screen works fine. All was working than suddenly trackpad and keyboard stopped working (bluetooth and display port dont’ work either). I tried SMC reset, PRam reset. Replaced trackpad ribbon cable, Restored OS. Onboard Diagnostic shows Trackpad and Mouse error. All cables are properly connected. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? This seems like a stupid obvious easy fix. Mac works fine with usb keyboard and mouse.

Did you try running the onboard diagnostics to see if an error popped?

Restart your system press the D key. Tell us what you got.

NDR001 is the code

I take it this doesn’t show up during Diagnosis. This was my next guess but not sure it’s worth replacing as I can get a used macbook and let my kids use this with mouse and keyboard from now on.

NDR001 code is an issue with the trackpad. But given the other symptoms I do wonder if this error is correct.

All of the devices you listed out are USB based as you can see here:

I was expecting a more definitive error.

So… We could try replacing the trackpad to see if the is just it. But I suspect the logic board its self is damaged. I’m not sure how you damaged it unless it was already in trouble to begin with.

Took back off just wiped off some connectors with isopropyl alcohol. Than keyboard mouse worked for a few minutes. Than back to not. Something odd
