No, the 1537 uses 2.4ghz to connect to the console and/or an Xbox wireless adaptor for Windows. I have an Android phone and I've successfully used an OTG cable (Type C or whatever port your phone uses, to urb type A) plugged into a micro USB, plugged into my controller. If you're looking around for the Bluetooth model, you're looking for the 1708 or the new Xbox one elite controller. They're the only 2 that have onboard Bluetooth capabilities.

Thank u so much, yeah, I'll need to go get a 1708 IG, I asked the guy at gamestop specifically for the Xbox controller with built in bluetooth, and he gave me the 1537, slightly !#^&@@ but it is wat it is, I'll just need to make sure to get a newer one saturday wen I go
Oof, sounds about right lol
Saaaaame thing happened to me with GameStop ! That’s why I found this post 🤬😮💨 I was originally getting a ps5 controller and told him I was ONLY using it for my phone. He then told me that Xbox controllers were best for that. I trusted him and he sold me something that can’t be used 🤦🏻♂️
