Is the RAM replaceable?

Is the RAM soldered or easily replaced/upgraded?

Hi,

The short answer in No, the RAM is hard mounted on the systemboard.

Here’s a link to the service manual

I'm not surprised. The only native Chromebook I know of with modular RAM is the Acer C720.

No, the C720 is soldered in. The C710 is not, however

The longer answer is there are models up to 8GB RAM so there may be empty pads where someone with the right skills and tools could add additional RAM or the existing modules could be swapped out. This is definitely for professionals only and the cost of having a professional do it would likely exceed the value of the Chromebook.
