Will a screen replacement fix flexgate?

Hey, I'm a apple customer from India. I'd bought my MBP 2016 15 inch in late 2017 and have just detected the beginning of flexgate today, the 26th of December 2019(The spotlights have appeared). What I need to know is whether a screen replacement is a permanent fix for the same . That is, does the official screen replacement have a longer cable? Or is it still prone to flexgate after a year or two of usage?

Apple is replacing the full display assembly with a newer version which does have a longer backlight cable.

Depending on supplier an independent shop may not have the newer part.

@LEON PATRICK MAWLONG - Apple does not have an official program for the 15" models. But! Don't give up! You'll need to visit a real Apple Store and make your case for a warranty exception. You will need to be able to show them you haven't damaged your system in any way and the movement of the screen cuts the backlight on and off or gets stage light effect.
