no sound after speakers replacement, but laptop makes popping sound

hello everyone, my laptop randomly started making this horrible sound whenever i would try to play a video or listen to anything with the internal speakers. it would also make a popping sound before a video would start or when i would turn on or off the laptop.

so i bought replacement speakers and followed the instructions very well, im certain i did not mess anything up and put everything back to where it belonged, it was fairly easy. but when i turned on the laptop it still makes those popping noises on boot up and shutting down, also when im about to play a video. the good thing is that no horrible noise comes out when trying to listen to something, the bad; there is no sound in general. nothing at all.

so my question is.. what should i do?

I wish you had asked us first how to diagnose your sound issue.

What does a bluetooth speaker or headphones sound like? Lets see if the the issue is limited to the analog side.

If that bluetooth connection sounds OK unlike your internal speakers lets try a wired speaker or headphones does that also sound good?

Darn I will remember that in the future. The MacBook doesn’t have Bluetooth , but if I connect headphones in it sounds perfectly fine

Are you sure your bluetooth is not working? This system does have it. That maybe a clue here!

Thanks dude I’ll replace the audio board and I’ll come back and let you know if it worked. I’m almost positive there was no Bluetooth option, but I’m not home right now to check. Thank you again ! & happy holidays.
