However, oddly enough, if you search for a replacement for the early 2013 (1502), it says it’s only compatible with 2013-2014. However, when you search up a replacement for the late 2012, it says it’s compatible with both late 2012 and early 2013…

Also, everymac.com confirms both screens have the same resolution and DPI, so sounds like they are identical. Only one way to find out I suppose. It’s worth a shot. If it doesn’t work, you’ll have to remove the screen assembly anyways to replace the LCD if you go that route.

Thanks everyone for your help. Made a call to the apple store and spoke to a technician that explained that the screens are similar but that the cables on the antenna are not the same and on opposite sides. So the answer is no. They are not compatible.
