No power, power button light blinks once

Having an issue with a Power Mac G4 that’s not powering on. Here’s a video of what happens when I press the power button:

Nothing happens after that one blink. No fan spin, nothing at all. Any ideas? I’ve replaced the PRAM battery and tried running at minimal config.

I have the same problem. Is it worth salvaging? Because apparently the g4 was discontinued 15 years ago. I just found 1 & was wondering if I should even bother or just junk it & get a newer model. How does the g4 compare w/ today's desktops?

@jwon That G4 was a great machine and built very well. I still keep them running for several customers mainly because they never wanted to learn system 10 and this one at 10.4 will still run system 9. The main question is, does it still do the job you want it to do? If so, keep it. I even upgraded on to a SATA SSD drive using an adapter from OWC to change from IDE drive to SATA. Pretty zippy ;-)

TBH I don't really know. I'm a pc user & have never really used a powermac. That's y I'm curious. All I know is that it's really heavy compared to the Dell I bought 5 years ago. are the parts obsolete & more expensive? Pricewise how much do u think it would it take to repair? Also from the sound of it the old OS sounds better than the new versions. Would u rank today's models as worse? Because to my knowledge all the computers today are much faster w/ more memory & smaller/lightweight
