2.2 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.4 GHz) or 2.5 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 3.7 GHz) quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB shared L3 cache.

screen has vertical bars and double images

So basically i did a repair for my right speaker which was rattling. The screen was never an issue but when i finish the repair from the guide on this site. I now have black and white screen with vertical bars and double images.

A couple of things i did was triple check everything made sure nothing was out of place. I also replace the display lvds cable that didn’t help either. I connect my macbook to external monitor and no issue so can’t be the motherboard or video card. I tried resetting the PRAM but that didn’t help either. What could be the issue? Please help

By chance did you use a spray cleaner on the display? I’m suspecting unbeknownst to you some of the cleaner found its way to the bottom of the display wetting the logic board at the bottom of the display which you can see here

Hopefully letting it dry out will bring your display back to life, if not, you’ll need to replace the display assembly MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Display Assembly following this guide MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2014 Display Assembly Replacement

I think you have no choice as the display is the focal point of the problem.

It’s always hard to diagnose screen issues, but most times such problems are just screen related. There’s no real way to help here, unless you got a replacement screen or a replacement logic board it’s quite impossible to give a clear answer. I could speculate, since you did a repair inside the housing, you may have not been properly grounded and a small spark may have damaged either the board or the screen, but I realize it doesn’t help with repair. Unless you can access known good replacements I’m afraid you’re stuck.

yeah im thinking next step is replacing screen cuz when i connect it to external display it's fine so i don't think it's the logic board
