Messed up teardown, how do I align Laser Printer Gears?
I made a big mistake: I took apart my Samsung ML-2010 Laser Printer because the spongy roller had to be repaced and I didn’t know that the sponge material snaps out without tearing down the whole thing.
Now that I’ve reassembled, some gears have flat ends on them, kind of like a letter D and I can’t figure out how to align the gears so that it will advance the paper sheets correctly.

Does nobody here ever do laser printer repair, are there ANY tips?

Gee, no responses, surely people have fixed laser printers before and have tips? The gears are in good condition, I just need to figure out how to align the teethless part of two of the gears. Is there no one willing to engage on this?
