The March 2015 update of Apple's 13" MacBook Pro Retina Display, model A1502, features fifth-generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and introduces the Force Touch trackpad.

No backlight fuse location

Hi guys, backlight on macbook pro early 2015 (A1502) is not working. Mac still works can see display when shinning a torch on display or using external display.

I’ve been told to test the backlight fuse but can seem to find it anywhere on the front side of the board?

Can anyone help with the location of the fuse or is it on the reverse side of the baord (meaning i would have to take the board out?)

Thanks

Its well hidden! You’ll need to take the logic board out to get to it on the other side, marked in yellow below.
