Is there a way to connect to my Airport Extreme Network

Apple iBook G3/366 (Firewire/Clamshell) Specs

Identifiers: Firewire - M7721LL/A* - PowerBook2,2 - M6411 -

System 10.3.9 & 9.2.2 320MB RAM.

During Spring break I decided to get this old one up and running. Everything is doing great with the exception of the wireless net work (ethernet runs fine). I was amazed at just how well this old jewel runs Adobe CS programs.

I have forgotten how or even if I can hook it up with my existing network or what I need to do to get it to work.

@danj I looked at your answer on this post but it appears this machine has just the (802.11) original A, how to i get my wireless to work

@mayer - Sadly, you’re stuck with 802.11b only I don’t know of any way to upgrade the AirPort board in this series.

Yes, but how can I get it to connect?

You'll need to get an older 802.11 AirPort router or other AccessPoint router for a WiFi connection.

Do keep in mind your connection will be wide open for anyone to see even WEP is not secure any more!
