The 32 GIG ssd is soldered in, and must stay! However, what I have discovered thru the web, is that Amazon, (and other sellers) sell an SSD that fits in the OPEN SLOT of the Lenovo 110S, and I have done that to my 110S and reloaded win 10 to the added “Silicon Power 120GB M55 M.2 2280 SSD With R/W Up To 550MB/s (SLC Cache for Speed Boost) SATA III Internal Solid State Drive for Ultrabooks and Tablets (SP120GBSS3M55M28)” by making it the C: drive and making the original 32GIG drive the D: drive. Others may be able to help you if you want to save what is on your 110S before you do this, I did not, hence Microsoft reloading win 10 cleaned both drives, formatted them and reloaded my activated win 10. Hope this helps And I am adding a WARNING ———Also, be aware, not all Lenovo 110's have the extra slot. Before buying anything based on my comments, remove the rear cover and validate there is a slot for the added SSD!!!!!

That info was not available when I gave my answer. Thank you for finding this.

I looked into it and it's true. This isn't hopeless like so many of these.

As follow up on my original Hard drive fix, the item I recommended has now failed on my 110S. Hence, I still recommend this fix, but do not recommend the“Silicon Power 120GB M55 M.2 as it quality and reliability, now as listed on Amazon had dropped like a lead weight. There are other choices that can be found by googling.

With the original 120GB failure, I found on Amazon for about the same price a Kingston A400 240G Internal SSD M.2 2280 SA400M8/240G Solid State drive that costs about the same as the failed 120GB drive and has a 5 Star Rating as listed on Amazon. I will continue to report on value and longevity! Double the GB for the basic same price and has 5 stars!
