Will changing logic board bypass activation lock?

I am not trying to get this to work as a phone. I just need to unlock it to essentially use over wifi as an iPod Touch. I am wondering if I replace the logic board if I can bypass the activation lock screen and sync to my iTunes and fill with music. Such as this one:

The logic board IS the phone. So if you change the logic board, you essentially have a new phone. Assuming the replacement board is not Activation locked itself, then you just need to re-synchronize the new logic board to your iTunes and voila!
