Keyboard not working after replacing the top case

Hello.

So I recently replaced my MacBook Air A1466 top case because a few of the keys stopped working after I spilled some water on it.

After replacing the top case none of the keys work now and I have to plug in an external keyboard to use it.

Every other function of the laptop is working perfectly, even the trackpad.

I have attempted to unplug and replug the relevant fittings with no success. Any advice or other solutions that I can attempt?

The supplier of the uppercase might have shipped you a bad one. I would contact them.

To see if the system see's the keyboard at all go to 'About This Mac' and click on the Systems Report button. Open the Hardware section & Click on the USB section. You may need to slide the split window a bit down so you can see the bus hierarchy. One of the Hub's show Keyboard Hub > Apple Keyboard, do you see it?
