Weird distortion on the right side, fixable?

Block Image

As seen in the picture above, there's a distortion which only appears after the monitor has been turned on for about 30min-1hr. It's practically invisible on white and black backgrounds, but very visible on grey or sky-blue backgrounds for example.

Things I tried:

1. Use a Macbook as source, no fix

2. Use my main desktop as source through DP adaptor, no fix

Is there a way to fix it? Could it be bad caps?

Thank you !

Here's a good writeup: LCD Image Persistence on the issue. I still call it screen burn-in ;-}

The good news is if you change your background image to a full blue or grey background over time the ghosting will disappear!

Hopeful news! I will play those YT screen burn-in videos overnight. I'll post an update. Thanks!

Update: @danj, you were right! Though it took a while (16hrs), the distortion is almost gone. A little longer and it should be back to normal. Thanks again :)
