Corner of screen shattered

I was stoking a fire, with a metal grate around it. I accidentally bumped into the grate which caused me to jerk my hand away, and in doing so I hit the corner of my Apple Watch on a piece of metal with considerable force resulting in a pretty nasty shatter of about a quarter of the screen. The only issue is that I don’t know if I damaged anything internally, or if it was just the screen because the affected areas seems pretty deep.

jake apostolu the only way of determining that would be by starting with replacing the screen. Although not a guide, this teardown Apple Watch Series 3 Teardown should help with that. Once you've managed to change the display, re-evaluate for further damage.
