Audio/Microphone not working. No devices working.

Hello, I have a problem where no audio comes out of my macbook 2010 unibody. There are no devices detected anywhere in the system and none of the com.apple files exist. I have called Apple and they say it is a bad speaker but headphones and the mic don't work either. I am running High Sierra. Is it a logic board problem? Could the speaker be messing with the microphone? I was servicing the hdd today and that might have shorted something out on the logic board. Thanks for any help!
