Where to find parts diagram for model LHA780

I have an older top loader whirlpool washer model LHA7800N1.

It won't agitate or spin, does fill and drain. Lid switch checks out OK. Motor and belt check out OK. Not sure about solenoids. I get of reading of 60 ohms for each wig-wag solenoid with power off.

Agitator tower spins freely without turning the tub with power off. I imagine this means a part is broken between the agitator and tub , maybe more.

I'm looking for a parts diagram to see if there is a coupling or other part between the transmission and tub which may have broken.

Any other ideas are welcome.

I don't find those numbers anywhere. I checked the operator's manuals and the machine. The only other reference I found was LHA7800

I tried entering your part number in both of these sites and nothing came up, so I don't know how much luck you'll have. However, when my old 70s GE washing machine tub boot failed from decades of use, I was able to get it from appliance part pros by calling up support and asking them for help. The tub boot was a PITA to remove, and I ended up shearing my plastic agitator (because it became one with the unit over the course of decades), but it actually worked and I got a few more years out of it. Luckily, GE reused the part for many years so there was a cross reference for the part. There is a good chance your machine is compatible with parts of other model year Whirlpool machines.

I learned from another site that I have to use LHA7800W1. "N" and "W" are just color codes with "W" meaning white which is the one which generally is in the parts database.

Does it fill and drain? If Your motor has a high and a low speed try the low speed/delicate cycle. If you still only get a fill, turn it to the drain-spin cycle. If it agitated on low speed you could have a bad motor or a bad motor relay. If it only drains I'd check the water level/pressure switch. It's the round, kind of flat switch in the control panel with a plastic tube that connects to the side of the tube. As the tub fills with water the pressure builds in the tube and activates the switch. I usually remove the tube from the tub and blow in it to manual activate it. The tube could have debris built up in it, or a crack in the tube. Those belt driven Whirlpool washers, in my opinion, are better than anything built today. I hope I help.
