Is it possible to replace clutch cover on MB Air 11"?

Hello,

I'd like to replace a broken clutch cover on a Macbook Air 11" Mid-2013 (A1465) and I cannot find a reliable step by step walkthrough. I'm pretty new to teardowns, and while I have all the gear, if anyone could provide a guide or atleast point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated! :)

It slides horizontally about a quarter of an inch, you squeeze it and it comes off.

Do I need to take the display apart first, or can this be done with only the steps above?

It needs to slide along the axis, so yes you do need to get the display part off to make room (the least risky path). If you've done it a few times it can be popped off (depending on how damaged it is) but you tend to need to take the display off to slide it back on otherwise you can damage it in the process.
