Mac will get to log in screen and then crash

Ok guys I can get to the log in screen on this mac im working on, but as soon as I type in the password the screen will spaz out with green lines going across the screen then the screen will go white any ideas?

White screen is indicative of hard drive and/or hard drive cable issues.

The screen artifacts issue is a failing GPU issue.

This was a know issue that Apple is no longer honoring:

Chase, Do you have an external bootable drive or a second Mac which you can connect to yours using Target Disk Mode?
