Cable 2 I-Phone 3g
I recently replaced the front cover on my iphone and all went well until it came to reconnecting the cables. Cable no. 2 wont click into place and Im afraid to force it - any suggestions? The other two cables are grand.
Update
The only part I replaced was the glass as it was cracked. The cables are all the originals - cable two just wont click into place, the other two click in fine - I put it together last night without being able to connect the Cable No.2 and all that happened was it showed me a picture of the battery needing charged. The home button appears to not be working either, there isnt that little click that you normally feel when you press the button. I think I am going to have to take it to an expert.

Geraldine, just wondering if you have a 3G part or a 3GS part. I know you say your phone is 3G just to let you know that the 3GS part does not fit. If you can verify it, we can help you find an answer.

would be nice to get a picture of it. However, try to check the plastic parts on the board with a magnifying glass and look at the cable coming from the digitizer.See if you have any bend pins or damage to the plastic. Also it does not fit because it binds, goes in crooked does not go in at all?
