Where can I find the clear plastic base gear attached inside?

Just recently the clear plastic circle that screws on the nut has broken. When i ordered a new base gear plastic circle it came with a golden screw in the middle. It does not fit! Please can you tell me where i can buy these replacements from? I can't seem to find them anywhere

Update (05/20/2017)

It's the plastic ring that doesn't fit on the screw inside the blender

When it broke it made a loud snapping noise, I switched it off, lifted the container and the plastic ring was snapped in half.

I am now wondering if something is still attached to the screw that came out of the plastic ring because my new plastic ring does not fit and all the plastic rings on line to buy have a gold coloured screw in the middle.

What doesn't fit? The screw or the gear? If its the screw, can you not just use the old one?

Lindsay Deakin, Yes, the plastic gear has broken and the center retaining nut which was molded into the plastic gear is probably still on the threaded shaft and will have to be removed with pliers(remember the threads are reversed and loosen by turning clock wise). I will update my answer with a couple added vid's to help/show removal.

@lins, Lindsay, Just a thought, the screw is reverse thread, try to turn the screw counter clockwise to tighten and clockwise to remove. 1st link below may help in assembling and 2nd link may help if you require different part(verify part is correct for your model# before ordering). Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
