The LG X Power is a 4G LTE smart phone that was released on August 2016. This model has a 16 GB memory with an Android operating system.

Is the screen on the LG X Power attached to the digitizer?

Hello, I am very much in need of assistance with finding information regarding the LG X Power phone model. It seems like there isn't much to go on no matter where I look so I was hoping to find out if someone could enlighten me. My phone screen is demolished, touch screen functions work fine, lighting still works fine, but I would like to replace it myself. Is there any chance that I can simply replace the phone screen without having to replace the digitizer as well?

literally just spent 3 hours trying to pry the glass off the digitizer with a heat gun... I did not know the glass was glued to the digitizer. I decided to try anyway, I watched some videos that required goo gone to get the glue off. well, that didn't work because the digitzer is so fragile, and thin that I cracked it. So I removed the back, and the digitizer is out. now I need to order the whole digitizer/glass assembly. I suggest you do the same. Good luck.

How did you disassemble the phone? I tried to a few months ago and couldn't figure it out.

@tinkered , Matt, The digitizer glass is glued or two sided taped to the LCD display as an assembly. Below 1st link is a video show disassembly/replacement of the screen, 2nd link is a like phone with guide showing screen assy. replacement. 3rd link is a available screen assy. for sale which you may be able to do a search on for better pricing perhaps. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Well, the phone warns me every time I turn it on not to try to remove the battery. Also my LG X Power (LGLS755) doesn't look like the phone in this picture. I also need to see it being put back together. Does it need glue? The screen and frame were glued together before right?
