I have a similar problem. With the most recent jam, my most immediate problem is extracting the paper jam that is in side the printer and can be seen when the plastic mechanism, two sided print accessory is removed.

the paper is firmly held and in spite of efforts to pull out I have not had success. just torn corners of paper How can I release the roller pressure of the captured pages and remove them?

@cpierce235 ,Clovis, dust, paper fiber, and other debris might accumulate on the pick rollers and cause paper feed issues, you can try cleaning the rollers with distilled water on a soft cloth and blow printer out with canned compressed air to hopefully solve the issue. See links below for more info. on your printers issue.
