iSight Camera broken off logic board
Hi, I was just wondering if I could get a workaround if the iSight camera connector on the logic board has fallen off.

No workaround. You will have to try soldering this back on. If you have pulled the pads off (they not accepting solder), you will have to run wires for each individual pin, if the anchor pads are still present.
If you have ripped the pads off, I would learn to live without the camera.

You will need to insulate the cable end so it doesn't short out anything.
Looking at the images I do see some burnt junk which you should carefully clean off.
Im in this same predicament but totally new at soldering. can you offer any tips to doing this without burning everything to shreds??
Find some jump logic board to practice on!
Hi Reece, I have the same problem. The pads are off. I can leave without the camera but apparently kernel_task can't :D
The fans are turning at their maximum and kernel_task takes 500% of the CPU. Any idea how to tell my Mac to completely ignore the camera?

Sadly, you can't as SMC needs the input from your display to make sure the system is not overheating.
You'll need to get the logic board repaired or just replace it. Sorry ;-{

Can you take a good picture of what the logic board looks like now and the cable end so we can see. Paste them in a answer below.
