Hard Drive replacement with 2 SSD's in original hard drive bay?

I have a mid 2011 iMac 27inch i7 3.4 . I am wondering if anyone has considered fitting dual SSD hardrives in the existing hard drive bay?

Without doing the teardown and then seeing if it fits, I would like to find out first.

Could there be a build up of heat in this area?

Can anyone see any other problems?

While you can have a dual drive configuration, you really can't use the 3.5" bay to house both drives. The height of the two 2.5" drives would be pushing things for the space.
