Extremely Hot Charger Port and Charger

So I recently replaced the Logic Board of my macbook 2-3 weeks ago. I had some struggles connecting theDC board to the logic board but I believe I connected it correctly. Today I had the bottom of my hand resting between the keyboard and side of macbook next to the AC port and I flinched cause the heat was very hot. Felt like I touched a hot stove. The charger works when I plug it in and I am using a genuine Apple Charger. The battery is listed as normal too. It seems to me the DC-in Board may need to be replaced but if you guys can give a more precise answer I would appreciate it.
