Dead ant inside display

Sound like a joke but is truth. There's a dead ant inside my iMac display. What you recommend my best option to take it off?

Did you have an image of a sweet looking donut on your display which drove him wild here ;-}

Sadly you'll need to replace the display assembly - Big $$$

But! Before you attempt repairing this on your own bring it into an Apple Store or authorized service center.

Technically this should never have happened as the cover glass and the display are fused into a monolithic unit with no means for the ant to get in. Which means it should be covered under an extended warranty.

You might need to push a bit to get it covered and do be careful in transporting your system as you don't want the ant to slide off the visible area of your screen so they see it.

Also make sure your house doesn't have any ants!
