Putting your wet device in rice is a myth, and it is bad for your device because you're letting it sit in rice and short and corrode instead of tearing it down immediately to wash and rinse off the liquid that went inside.

For this, dip the board in 99% IPA or acetone, brush with soft toothbrush, air dry (warm hair dryer) and test again. If you still have no image, you can try a known good screen. If it doesn't produce an image on a known good screen, then you have board level damage that may not be worth addressing since the device has been sitting in rice and the damage may have become extensive.

Follow this guide to get the board out of the device.

Hey @floyd, the first thing you should do is disassemble the device. Follow this guide for the tear down. Then clean each part with 99% isopropyl alcohol. Reassemble the device. If the issue still occurs, the LCD for your device should be replaced. The guide for the replacement is here.

-Also try and do a hard reset. Hold the home and power button until the screen turns black and the apple logo shows up. The screen is still white then the LCD should be replaced.

-Let me know how it goes.
