Does this need a new digitiser?

I recently tried to fix my iPod nano 7th gen (front glass replacement) and when i powered it back on the screen was very washed out and there were a bunch of dead pixels in the bottom right corner. Is this an issue with the digitiser or something else? See link for a picture.

Michael Meyer that is definitely not your digitizer. What you have there is a broken LCD. You will have to replace it.

The digitiser seems fine so i would suggest its the screen or connections

Is it recognised by iTunes ?
