If it is rooted and you do not know what you are doing, you might have deleted an odex file that patches that. Otherwise the systemui settings are corrupt and you might have to do a factory reset.

I have had this problem too. The error message "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" pops up around every five minutes, and I can only access the first 5% of my phone. The battery charges fine, but the phone itself doesn't allow me to use the device because of the error message.

When the measage pops up hold the power button for complete shut down then click ok then quickly power of the phone and wait for the phone to eathier cool down or just turn it back on and try it

I'm having the same issue with my LG Pride I purchased from TextNow. The phone has been doing a slow crash on me. I should've sent it in for replacement as 3 days after i received it i stopped it in dog water. Placed in rice for 12 hours and it worked fine, though edge of screen stayed a light blue. My memory on the phone was very limited and I hadn 't yet gotten an sd card so I kept getting warning messages about "some functions may not work”. Anyway hoping someone finds the answer because I can no longer use the phone and all my information and pictures which I didn't sync are now unattainable.

Download a launcher then go to setings then home make your new launcher as permanent :(

with the system unfortunatly ui has stop with an all black screen my phone wont do anything it barely let me power off but i have to keep clicking the ok button a lot of times and press the power button so i can get it to power off but thats all it does and when i turn it back on the screen is the same , i did the volume down and the power button and it still wont do anything at all who can tell e how to fix this problem .......??????
