verna henry, this is a known issue with the Samsung TV's. The cause of the white dots issue, is the DLP Chip. Here is the guide on how to fix it.

I have the exact same television and experienced the white dot invasion. I replaced the DLP chip myself and the set worked fine.

We have an HL-T6187S, which is a 61" DLP set that has probably a dozen "on" mirrors (so far), but this is definitely helpful. Thanks!!
