You'll need to wait until the system is shipped and the IFIXIT crew get their hands on one. You'll need to wait to be sure.
From what the Apple presentation shows I don't think it would work. Remember, there is more than just fitting in, the logic board needs to support it.

I own a Macbook Pro Model A1398 (15" Retina Display) and was wondering about the same issue with the Force Touch trackpad. I mean I would hope the logic board would´t have change that much. Let me know what you guys have found out.

Sorry, it won't fit. the space it uses is deeper than your current trackpad.

The reverse? Use an older trackpad in the newest model? That makes no sense!
The issue is the same across all of the older MacBook Pro Retina systems. The size of the trackpad is deeper with the Force Touch trackpad.

The A1502 without force touch uses a ribbon cable and the A1502 with force touch uses a socket to connect the track pad so no you can not.

The 2015 A1502 doesn't have a mechanical touch pad, all of them have force touch trackpads. Unless the board inside is a late 2013-2014
