The Nintendo 2DS is a handheld gaming device developed as an entry level version of the Nintendo 3DS with nearly identical hardware, but without the 3D upper screen function.

Black screen in Nintendo 2DS is usually a clear indication of broken screen.

However check if the network/wi-fi card is not loose or out of position. If being the case the device will not turn on.

After checking the network card and if persisting you will need to try witn a new LCD screen (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-2DS-LCD...)
