auto tranny engages and then jumps out of gear

My daughter's truck has an issue with the tranny. When put in gear it momentarily disengages and reengages itself. Seems to only be in lower gears or reverse

I had this problem and i changed the transmission filters and refilled and put a bottle of lucus transmission conditioner and have had no more problems. But it could be a transmission problem.
