Why does the projection clock "on" button keep turning off?

Whenever I turn the projection clock button to the "on" position, it moves back to the "off" position and will not stay on.

After some research, I discovered that the unit needs to be reset.

Resetting process:

Remove batteries and disconnect adapter for 15 minutes.

Reinstall batteries and reconnect adapter.

Hold reset button for 5 seconds located in the battery compartment or on the back of the unit.

(A paper clip or pin will be needed to fit into the hole for the reset button.)
