iPhone 5C no power

Just simply has no power. I disconnected the battery cable and plugged the pghone into my computer but no apple logo flashing. No signs of power at all. Could rthis still be a bad battery?

I would most certainly replace the battery. 9/10 you will get some kind of life.

Here is a link to the battery.

I will try a new battery. I read around the the USB charging IC (U2) would go out often with the no-power iphone 5's when plugged into a cheap crap china charger or cord. (iPhone came with a pink trash sync cable...) TY Ill try it

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

sounds more like your U2 iC meaning it needs a main board repair.

easiest way i find to identify this is to disconnect battery and plug in as normal to mains or pc. if apple logo appears and goes off then your board is fine. if nothing appears then its an ic issue.

but yeah cheap cables are a major contributary to this

If the screen has just been replaced it could be a number of things

Battery or faulty screen

First thing to do is replace the battery if the battery is completely dead even iTunes won't pick it up

Well...so much for that -_-...adhesive strips snapped right off immediately on the iphone I was gonna harvest the battery from...a new iphone 5C battery on the way Ill update what happens.
