I am transferring all the components of my old Iphone 5 into a new housing. As I got to the step of reinstalling the power button into the new back housing, I realized that there was no bar to hitch the power button onto. Is this thin (very small) bar removable, so that I can reinstall it into my new housing?

I have the bare case pictured above, however, I also need to remove a tiny metal bar. if you click on the bare case and zoom into upper right hand corner this can been seen. It doesnt appear to be held in by a screw so im not sure how to remove it
