Unused internal connector on logic board
There's an unused internal connector on the MacBook Air 2013 logic board, see picture. What's the use of this connector?

cerberusss, that is reference designator J5100. It is used as LPC+SPI Debug Connector. Definition for those are Low pin count(LPC) Serial peripheral interface(SPI). Looks like an Apple way to debug the logic board. Hope this helps, good luck.

This connector features on many (all?) modern MacBooks. The pinout changes from model to model though. I am making adapters to go from this plug to Bus Pirate 4.
this connector is used to reset or reprogram the EFI bios chip
