Can I install a 2009 logicboard into a 2008 MacBook model?

I have a Penryn white plastic macbook. I was wondering, if I need to install a new logic board, are the latest 2009 macbook logic boards compatible?

I see it has a sata connection for internal optical drive, so that's a "problem". But other than that, would it fit?

The logic board from this machine would be as high as you can go:

Apple MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.13 13" (White-09) Specs

Identifiers: Mid-2009 - MC240LL/A - MacBook5,2 - A1181 - 2330

Yes, I found that indeed. However, an answer on another similar question shows that you'll also need a new bottom case, because the 2009 model has different screw positions. So, I guess I won't attempt. (Swap late 2008 Black MacBook logic board to Mid 2009 logic board?)
