Odd keyboard issue after water damage

Right, poured my hot cocoa in the 'return' key area. Was not a lot - immediately flipped upside down and powered off while using paper towers. Waited a few minutes and it worked fine.

A day later, the spacebar and a couple other keys suddenly stopped working. As far as I can tell, no keys are sticky.

Question:

- Would popping each key out and cleaning help or am I wasting my time and risking further issues?

- Roughly how much are we speaking to have the keyboard replaced at Apple?

Thank you.

Apple is always expensive and you should be able to fix this yourself, there is a Teardown Guide here MacBook Air and treat the problem area for the liquid damage with alcohol and a tooth brush or whatever tool would work best, it's not a tough thing to do ! Good Luck. If this answer was helpful please remember to mark it accepted.
