Easiest way is to open a new finder window.
- Then in the left sidebar select Applications
- Then highlight the 'Name' column and then scroll down until you see iTunes
- Grab the application and drag it over to the dock hold it where you want it and let go. An alias will be created in the dock for you.

Go to the applications folder and drag itunes from that folder to your dock. Hope this helps!

yes agree on the above answer, by moving the application to the trash icon, you are only deleting the shortcut, and u can create a new shortcut by finding the main application in the above answer, cheers!
