I bought the WII unit 4 years ago. My WII has two USB port. One for Keyboard and one for the external hard drive. The USB for external hard drive is broken. I need replaced. Can you fix it and how much would it cost if it can be replaced.

mike, ifixit does not do any repairs. Here you will find advise on how to fix things yourself :) The USB port is soldered to the board. You could try and replace it by purchasing a USB port from places like Mouser.com or digikey.com. the other thing you could do, is to solder a USB cable to it. Get yourself a USB cable, cut the male end off, and solder those to the board, this will leave you with a female port to connect your HDD to. Either or, you will have to disassemble your WII and do some soldering. Follow these guides.Hope this helps, good luck.
